Our renovated old Japanese style house which was a tea farm provides you with clean, comfortable, and nostalgic atmosphere.
Relax and take your time as if you would come back to your home, as if you had been living this satoyama area for a long time.
We have 2 basic plans and seasonal plans.
Since we are farm-inn style accommodation, please kindly note that guests would be supposed to join in cooking as an experience.

Magnificent tea plantations with traditional tea-grass integrated system which are classified as World agricultural heritage. It takes only 5-20 minutes from our accommodation.
We can see the most beautiful landscape from end of April to May, and activity relating to Japanese tea is available this season.
After then, second tea-crop season comes in June, third tea-crop season comes from middle of July to beginning of August, and we harvest last autumn new tea from end of September to middle of October. We have 4 terms to harvest Japanese tea through the year. Activities relating to Japanese tea are available in those seasons, and you can feel and experience extraordinary situation which you will never have in your country.
Tea factory tour is also available in those seasons. Feel the flavor of the tea and find how Japanese tea are produced!
Tempura of tea leaves would be served at dinner of the day. You can't taste it other places!

Awagatake is a mountain which has an altitude of 532m, about 10 minutes by car from our accommodation. You can find a Chinese character "茶" (means tea) in the middle of it. Beautiful tea plantation scenery is at the foot of the mountain.
Hiking in this mountain is recommended! It takes about 2 hours from the middle of it to the top and if you are lucky, you can meet a serow.
From top of the mountain, you can clearly see Mt.Fuji. At the top, you have a resting point, cherry blossoms, and Awawa shrine are there. Also spiritual stones with ancient myth are remarkable. You will feel the spiritual power of it.
Another site is Totoumi Ichimiya Kotonomama Hachimangu. It takes 15 minutes walking from our accommodation. The shrine is popular among Japanese girls for its power to give them a romantic fate.
